This week's amazing guest is Tipper Newton (The Mindy Project, Color TV (that's her band. She's SO COOL). Tipper went to a mall-like high school in Omaha, Nebraska where she was FORCED to play tennis, went to a ton of shows (concerts), and completely avoided making any tennis team friends. She was obsessed with movies and worked on the school news program. Oh btw, Tipper had an OLDER boyfriend. Devastatingly cool.
You can catch Tipper now on The Mindy Project and see her BAND, Color TV perform in L.A. She's also in Chris Schleicher's show at UCB Franklin, All-American Boy.

This week's guest is the amazing Aimee Carrero (Young And Hungry) Aimee shares how a MURDER resulted in her attendance at Achribishop Carol in Miami. Aimee's constant detentions didn't keep her from excelling in drama BUT the heartbreak she experienced with the cool drama boy resulted in the birth of MEAN Aimee. Aimee bullied her teachers which isn't recommended but totally cool.

Listen up!!!
Miranda interviews writer Molly Jong-Fast (Normal Girl, Social Climbers Hand Book) about her experience at Riverdale County School in New York. Molly admits to smoking sooo much pot and playing Sega Genesis and discusses how her bohemian upbringing clashed with her new high school environment (aka a school IN A CHURCH).
We're back! And edgier than ever!! For our season two opener, Miranda sat down with Lara Marie Schoenhals (White Girls Problems) for a trip down high school memory lane. Lara went to three different high schools in Oklahoma, and was super wild. Tune in for Degrassi-Level drama!

Miranda is joined by writer Ryan O'Connell (Awkward, Thought Catalog) for a dive into his exciting high school experience. Ryan went to Foothill Technology High School and was very grateful that when he attended it was two years old and new and small and full of young teachers, one of which insisted on being called "Captain".
Ryan admitted to being a bit of a mean girl (he had Queen Bee status), is guilty of starting feuds, and told us about his coming out party.
This episode's superlative may very well be "Most Dramatic"
This week's episode is with comedian Brandon Wardell. Brandon went to a pretty large high school in Virginia, scammed his parents on a few report cards, and started stand up AS A TEEN.
This week's episode is with writer, producer Erin Mallory Long (Hello Giggles, The Best of Friends Podcast). Erin discussed the pros and cons of having a teacher for a mom, relived some theater drama, and revealed just how many times she went to prom (spoiler alert: she was so cool, it was more than once).
This week's episode is with comedian and former Crew team member Eli Yudin (@nottildaswinton). Eli is our first prank-pulling guest and BOY WERE HIS HIJINKS AMAZING. Tune in for some classic "Boys Will Be Boys" reminiscing.
This week's episode is with writer, former President of the Drama Club, and former competitive ice skater, Chris Schleicher (The Mindy Project). Chris attended Winchester High School where he successfully brought back school dances (they were BANNED!), found out creative ways to "buy time" on papers, and participated in a billion school clubs.
Chris' competitive ice skating training and high levels of school participation left him with little to no down time, which, spoiler alert - "kids shouldn't have anyway."
Listen up and find out how Chris' experience was similar to Sabrina The Teenage Witch.
P.S. Chris is a long time listener! Tweet us and let us know how many episodes you've listened to!
This week's amazing episode is with the lovely Xosha Roquemore (The Mindy Project, Precious). She went to Oakwood School before starting at the catholic private school, St. Bernard. Xosha's penchant for the "thug life" and good student sensibilities resulted in a "I can't get in trouble" loop hole that she definitely took advantage of.
This episode is so fun. Take notes.
Today's episode we have our first boarding school attendee AND prom queen, Lang Fisher (30 Rock, The Onion, The Mindy Project). Lang attended boarding school in Colorado Springs where she almost got kicked out, lied about a drug deal, and was a part of The Hive.
Lang was also very studious and probably had a little too much on her plate at once; her living on campus provided us a different take on the high school experience.
